The idle motor is the part that controls the idle speed of a motor vehicle. When the engine is idling, it is called an idle motor. The function of the idle motor is: the idle motor changes the cross-sectional area of the idle motor air duct according to the engine temperature and load size, so that the engine has a better idle speed under different working conditions.

The idle motor is mainly used to withstand the idle speed of the car, and its purpose is to adjust the idle speed according to the load of the engine idle motor. Idle motor The stepper motor is installed on the throttle body, and the engine idle speed is controlled by the engine control equipment. When the engine speed deviates from idle, it is regulated by the throttle valve, which controls the amount of air entering the intake manifold and is operated by the accelerator pedal wire rope machinery. The throttle body has a bypass air duct to provide air while idling.

Automatic idle motor The pivot of the motor enters the bypass air duct and regulates the air flow through the bypass air duct. According to the input signal of various sensors, the engine control equipment uses the pivot of the automatic idle motor to enter and exit the bypass air duct and adjust the engine idle speed. When the ignition key is turned to the on position, the automatic idle motor motor starts to work. This switch signal is fed to the ECU to detect if the engine is idle. At the same time, the motor position sensor feeds the real-time position of the motor back to the ECU.

If the vehicle is "no idle", it should be checked as soon as possible to the maintenance shop to ensure safe driving, if the vehicle is "idle stall", then we can take the following corresponding measures in the event of stall, to avoid danger: when the engine is stopped and waiting for the engine to turn off, only need to restart the engine. If it is an automatic car, you must first shift the gear to stationary (P) or neutral (N) gear, and then start the engine.

After the car is turned off, do not panic, hold the direction, as in the case of brakes, if it is a manual transmission car, you can step on the clutch, change to the corresponding gear according to the speed of the gear shift lever, and release the coupling, use the speed of the engine to drive, similar to the cart to start the engine, you can also directly restart the engine. If it is an automatic car, first carefully put the gear into neutral, be careful not to accidentally put the gear into reverse, otherwise it will damage the transmission, and then restart the engine. Of course, you can turn on the double jump lights and pull over to the side of the road and restart the engine.

When the car brake stall, do not be nervous, stable direction, you can take measures to increase braking, while paying attention to the surrounding situation, there is an opportunity to change lanes around the front obstacles, turning the steering wheel should pay attention to force, because there is no direction power, steering will be heavier.
